The self catering accommodation is set in a delightful rural position on the edge of village of Shirley, which enjoys great history dating back to Saxon times.
Set in several acres of grounds on the south east edge of the Peak District National Park and only four miles from the pretty market town of Ashbourne at the start of the Tissington Trail

The area enjoys undulating rolling countryside from which you can enjoy far reaching views, excellent local walking and various country houses within an easy drive
Accessed from a quiet country lane, which then leads down the tree lined drive through the secure gated entrance to the accommodation and grounds. You enter the cottage, on two floors, into the desk/study reception hall which is vaulted to the first floor accommodation.
Off the hall is the bedroom, with double bed and full sized glazed doors and side panels on most of one wall. Also on the ground floor is the bathrom with bath and shower over toilet and hand basin.
The oak staircase leads to the first floor sitting and dining area with feature exposed trusses and sloping ceiling adding to the rooms charm and character
Off the area to the rear is the well and fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials you will require for your stay - at the opposite end of the room a glass door opens out onto your owner private balcony views of the gardens for your enjoyment as advised by the owner and of course the far reaching views.
